OBAMA NEEDS YOU FOR Get out the VOTE

Barack Obama needs your help. His staff and volunteers has run a great campaign so far registered millions of voters and contacted and pursuaded millions more. However all the hard work of the past 5 months for the General Election is worthless unless we work hard to Get Out the Vote. I know the polls look great however if we don't make sure that every voter supporting Obama gets to the polls and votes on November 4 and that vote is protected all is for not.

If you live in a swing state go to your Obama office and sign up for a GOTV shift.

If you do not live in a swing state you can help in two ways.

1) Travel to a swing state close to you to help on GOTV weekend. If you can come to a swing state Nov 1 and Nov 2 we need you. Contact the Obama office in a swing state and we will find you housing for those two days. If you can take off work and come Monday and Tuesday even better!

2) Make calls to swing states. Go to Obama's website and make calls that weekend. Contact Obama supporters and tell them their polling place and remind them the importance of voting.


Lastly if you are a lawyer and can work election we need you! We need lawyers to drop into troubled districts and enforce voters rights. Go to Obama's website and we will hook you up.

Do not wake up November 5 wondering why when you should be recovering from a hangover from the Victory Party! Your country needs you. Answer the call :patriot:

Thanks for this post. I think it's important that people realize that being as educated as possible about this election puts them in the position of being among the most qualified to make calls and knock on doors. Please please please do not assume someone else will do this for you.

I literally shut my computer, walked out the door, got on my bike and went to the Obama headquarters after I saw that. I have worked there 5 days a week ever since.
