TWO things people don't care about (OK, three): Ayers, Troopergate, AIP

Some of you are playing the same dumb and failed game as McCain. You've become so "scandal sensitive" that you actually think voters give a flying fuck about "Troopergate" or the Alaska Independence Party. You're just like the deluded Freepers who think voters give a flying fuck about Ayers, the Obama birth certificate, or so-called "Chicago politics." The whole thing is stupid, on both sides.

And don't bother with "Well one is TRUE, so it's not really the same blah blah blah." It doesn't matter if it's true. It matters if it's relevant to voters. And none of this stupid shit is relevant to voters. It is nothing but parlor games and nonsenses for political junkies, a special brand of douchebaggery unlike many others.

You need to be out there talking about POLICY, not the stupid AIP shit. It's worthless in a campaign, and especially during this stage of a campaign in this environment. If you're too dumb or lazy to understand policy differences, then just stick to positives about our candidate. You will sound less foolish on the phone and in your job, while at the same time managing, perhaps by accident, to actually sway a voter or two.

4. i respect the point about staying on message. But calling these "stupid" is insincere disregard

...for extremely serious issues pertaining Palin.

You call it "politics," but when the person in like for PRESIDENT has a history of breaking ethics laws and being part of a militant secessionist group, i find it just being concerned about the TRUTH.

I'd say the same about the Ayers stuff if it wasn't such total nonsense.

5. People don't KNOW about Troopergate and AIP because the MSM doesn't cover it.
That doesn't mean people don't CARE about it.

8. No one cares about Ayers and AIP, but Troopergate will have an impact with independents
Having a bipartisan investigation find you guilty of breaking ethics laws does not endear you to swing voters.

10. When I was teaching,
I had to adapt the message to the student. While I agree that discussing policy is important, it won't reach a certain segment of the population, you know, the knuckle dragging mouth breathers.

They have been conditioned by their handlers to respond to only the simplest of facts, not logic, or ideals, or policy. They are well-trained, like Pavlov's dogs, so in order to get them salivating, it is imperative to produce the correct stimuli. Logic and reason are out. Appealing to the reptilian brain is in. That's why telling them the Palin wants to rip a star off Old Glory will get their attention (if you can get them to stop shouting USA! USA! long enough to listen).

It's discouraging and demeaning (to one's self) to have to engage in such base tactics, but necessary in order to reprogram them, if that's the demographic you're dealing with.
