McCain "whipping" Obama = racist comment
Am I the only one to see the racist aspect of this claim? The old slave master whipping the smart young black man to put him back where he is supposed to belong? Seriously, this should be turned around and we should call McCain racist for making that comment. Has Obama made any kind of threats of the kind about McCain?

4. It's blatantly obvious at this point..
that McCrypt has no respect for Obama. Whether it's due to racism or any other factor, it reflects very poorly on him.

5. I noticed that too, but I think he is just an insensitive idiot. I don't think he's
all there, frankly. I doubt he meant it that way. He just doesn't think.

8. His use of the word is probably intentional
Because he knows some will pick up on it, and then he can say "Look, their side is playing the race card". IMO we should ignore it and move on.

12. Yes, it is coded language, obviously.
Even if he did not mean to say anything racist, it's not something to say. We all have said something racist one day or other. But in this instance, McCain could say something, but he won't.

9. Since the quote was "I'm going to whip his you-know-what", yah, that's going a bit far for you.

15. Ok I thought he said "I will whip Obama"
Sorry, he meant his ass. Probably has some sado gay fetish for black men.

10. I don't disagree, but harping on that does not help Obama
Remember what Chuck Todd said a few months ago: any day that the discourse is focused on race is a bad day for Obama. No matter how racist their attacks are, the best strategy is to suck it up and not call attention to the racial aspect. We can attack McCain for being nasty without making it a racial issue.
