24. he's completely awesome. I can't help thinking, because of my
age, that once upon a time, not that long ago, he would have been lynched on the spot for hugging and kissing those gals. GO, OBAMA! And god bless America for really changing.

4. Wow. I hope he actually got to knock on a door of McCain supporters and
TALK to them.

I always am reminded of a story about Biden, on the way to a speaking engagement (when he was running for Prez) and saw some anti-Biden protesters on the road en route. He had the car stop, got out and talked to these people, answered their questions, and they ended up supporting him.

I think the same would happen with Obama - those who would get an opportunity to have him answer their questions might be converted. :7

5.  looks like he's taking Tweety's advice
Mathews said two weeks ago that Obama needs to get out and talk to people in rural places or visit an unemployment line and connect more with struggling people so he sounds like he is in touch. Looks like there taking his advice. I bet a lot of those people in that neighborhood are McCain folks.

16. My thoughts too

It's always a bit uncomfortable canvassing neighborhoods, and this one looked tough. I give
Obama a lot of credit for doing this.

32. Damned straight!
You wouldn't imagine the multiplier effect of even a quarter of those folks getting "converted" who weren't for him. That could flip a state.
