Sent money.
Lots of it. Probably won't have time to volunteer because of work stuff/kids, so we gave 'til it hurt.

That time was spent calling Limbaugh country, and it seemed like twenty-two. :7

My heart will not take me doing it again. Too stressful.

Edited to add: there is no category for me, so voted just sent money.

10. I've done, or will do, most of the above.
I haven't voted yet, but hopefully next weekend my ballot will be here. I have no intention of watching FAUX Noize, at least until after Obama has been projected the winner. Then it becomes pure comedic value as I get shit faced and laugh at Hannity, O'Reilly, Hume, Coulter, etc.

12. I'm volunteering time for the campaign as a lawyer on election day.
I've sent more money than I should have, but felt that it was the right thing to do.

I've sent many letters to editors, a half dozen of which were actually printed.

and I respond to those who send viral anti-obama e-mails, engage them in conversation, and have convinced three that they should vote for Obama.

14. I've only donated money and plan on voting early.
I recently found out that there's a HUGE group for university democrats at my college that I plan on joining. They have meetings every Wednesday and I plan on attending this week. I know they do a lot of promoting for local democrats. Hopefully they'll have something planned for the next few weeks. Plus it's a good way to meet other similar people and be able to talk politics. Instead of TRYING to reason with my Obama-hating boyfriend. :eyes: :eyes:

18. I will be driving on the 4th
getting those folks who don't have transportation to the polls - though I've also been informed that a poll worker for my small town may be needed. At this point, Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'll be doing one of the two.

20. Nov. 4 is TOO LATE -- 1/3 of the country has already started to vote, you need to volunteer TODAY
Go to Obama's web site & find the local office to work in.

24. Should I volunteer in Florida or Georgia on 11/4?
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 05:52 PM by Bonn1997
I live in Alabama. I know Florida is closer and worth more but I'm not sure about election fraud occuring there.

To answer the question, I've donated money and voted early.

Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 05:58 PM by Diamonique
I was knocking on doors doing voter registration, but this weekend I was knocking on doors to contact new voters and sporadic voters.

I also signed up for a shift at the HQ on Saturday before the election for GOTV.
