If Palin is so pro-life why did she fly 9 hours in labor to deliver her
baby in Alaska rather than in Dallas (?) where there were probably far better medical facilities? There is no way Alaska Airlines would have let her fly if they knew she was in labor.

Someone needs to call her on this to shut her up! She can't talk about being a reformer anymore without looking stupid now that she has been found guilty of abuse of power. The McCain campaign has been rebuked by cons for being hateful. They are in a box and let's take this one last talking point away from them!!!!

1. I think this subject has been hashed and rehashed and hashed here again since
when Palin was first selected. There must be something that is actually new to discuss.

6. To me, what's different is she is really making abortion an issue.
So hit her right back on it. There isn't much else that she or Mcsame can talk about. Let's take that talking point away as well.

2. My guess is that she wanted something to happen to her baby.
She is cold as they get.

3. So Bristol would be in the same state as Sarah to deliver Trig.
BTW, what are your Labor Day plans?

4. Because pro-Alaska trumps pro-life
That's my take on this. It's no coincidence that her husband was a member of that secessionist group in Alaska. No way was she going to let her baby be tarred with the fact that he was born in the lower, inferior 48 states.

8. Republicans' concern for life begins at conception and ends at birth.
Yes, they fervently declare "Never have an abortion", but once you give birth their tune is, "You're on your own". The YOYO party.

14. Simple answer.......Palin was NEVER pregnant in 2008!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure of it. With all the evidence and LACK of a birth certificate, lack of hospital birth records, LACK of logic in her story...........not to mention 100 pictures of her supposedly PREGNANT in Feb/March DISAPPEARING OVERNIGHT?

That baby is someone else's. She and her husband and her family are Kooks. A year from now we will know the truth.....and it won't be pretty.

17. The Baby Is Bristol's See Engorged Breasts At The RNC Convention
They could not farm Trig out after it was confirmed he had downs. None of those ever lovin CHRIST folks wanted a downs baby. Sarah had to pretend it was hers. Then the Bristol is preggers story to try and down play that she is not the Mommy. Oh fuck yes she is the mother. This family puts the FUN in dysfunctional.

18. I missed the earlier discussions, but this has really bothered me
As reported in the Alaska news http://www.ktuu.com/global/story.asp?s=8194634

The governor's water broke during the energy conference but she stayed and gave a 30-minute speech before boarding an Alaska Airlines plane home to deliver the baby.

This struck me odd for several reasons. Usually, when a woman's water breaks there maybe an initial gush of fluid, but there is always a trickling. Did she go and change her clothes and put on depends? Contractions will usually start and with a baby being a month early, there is some concern about the stress of losing the amniotic fluid can have.

She knew that the baby had downs syndrome. Children with downs have a higher incidence of heart defects that may or maynot be detected with ultrasound. It's the one thing most doctors are concerned about with a downs birth, that there be medical assistance for the child if needed at birth.

1. This was her fifth child
2. She knew the child had downs
3. Her water broke and she continued to stand and give a 30 min speech
4. With her water broken, her fifth pregnancy, a child with known downs but unknown if the baby would have other defects, she boarded a plane with out a doctor and flew 3-5 hours to Alaska from Texas.

She wasn't concerned that as her fifth child, the labor might progress rapidly?

She gave a 30 minute speech after her water broke? No one noticed? Did she have on poise pads and just smile through the contractions?

Babies with downs have a higher tendency to have heart, lung, and kidney issues that need to be addressed at birth. She wasn't concerned that if she gave birth on the plane the medical care wouldn't be available if...*if* the downs baby she was carrying had issues there would be no assistance.

This whole story smells. She's has shown over and over to be a pathological liar and not a very good one.
