PS: I did not mean to imply that your use of damn was improper. To clean up my language I have been thinking back to my days at the hands of nuns wielding various (usually edged) objects.

A great deal falls under the banner of what they would have considered foul (punishable) language! ...And I remember it better than I would like to.

I'm going to hear Edwards speak tomorrow. Kerry was not my first choice as president, and Edwards was not my first choice as vice-president. However, I'm looking forward to what I am sure will be an inspiring event. I am tired of all of the nitpicking and tearing Kerry and Edwards apart. They are not perfect men, and they are not running a perfect campaign. But what the hell, if I wanted to elect someone who agreed with absolutely everything I think, I'd have to write in my own name. And then the country would definitely be doomed.

If you see my sig, Kerry was not my 1st choice. Or 2nd. Or 3rd. He was 4th out of 8. (And Edwards.. well, actually, Edwards was my 1st for VP). But hearing him speak, like last night, I am damn happy to have him as our candidate.
