2. We'll find out over the next week.
If there is more Obama-pals-with-terrorist stuff from Sarah Palin and the rest in prepared remarks, that means McCain was insincere.

10. But doesn't this make it a bigger story and perhaps bigger problem for him?
Edited on Fri Oct-10-08 06:53 PM by jefferson_dem
He's now been forced to acknowledge that some of his supporters are indeed "over the top" and will have to accept responsibility for helping create conditions so that would happen.

7. I have no clue, and neither does McInsane of "my fellow prisoners" fame
Could be that he could be breaking federal law by inciting a mob to murder a Presidential candidate.

17. Ah...just imagine how tough it was to type...
Thank goodness we're using his pseudonym - McCrypt - so as to keep things in proper perspective.

12. I honestly think he's given up to the fact he'll lose
and he'll have to work with Obama in the future. Palin is a different story, pure evil.

13. I replied politics,but I think it's fear
He sees what he's whipping up, and he knows what could happen. He doesn't want to be responsible for the consequences of inciting the mob. However, is it too late to stomp out this fire he and Palin created?

14. Ok, flame away, I said "both."
Part of me is more disappointed in McCain than angry at him. I think he does still have some principles; at least, I think he probably finds this phase of the campaign to be distasteful.

Doesn't mean I like him, want Obama to go easy on him, want DUers to go easy on him. Just how I see it.

15. His contempt for Obama is too obvious from the debates.
I voted politics, because even many GOPer's are saying he's gone too far.

16. Fear
he DOES have to return to the senate cloak room eventually. By the sounds of Kerry and others I think he realized that if he returned to DC he may not make it out.

18. Politics

But it is way too little and way too late.

Having repelled indies and moderates, he's now determined to make the base turn on him.

The freeptard torch mob has turned against him on a dime.
