So.....due to the recent events...could Arkansas swing blue?

I'm saying every day its more and more probable, considering the last polls put McCain up by 9, and 538 has him up by 6.8. But these polls are from September and there have only been two polls done in AR so far. Not to mention it tends to lean Blue. And recent events make it more probable.


What do you guys think?

1. call me stupid, but i believe we could end up seeing an entire blue

map on Nov 4. just look at the mess w has wrought. if people don't wake up and pay attention now, there likely won't be another chance. if w hasn't destroyed the country beyond repair already, mcsame would surely finish us off.

2. It's a lovely thought,

but I'd bet against it (if I had any money left in bu$hler's economy). Bad as things are out in the sticks, there's still this resistance to the very idea of voting for a Black man. There's little old white women in Hot Springs who are TERRIFIED of Obama to the point where they'll have themselves wheeled into the polling places on gurneys (with oxygen masks intact) just to vote for Poor Old John.

I expect a lot of the middle-aged white boys to stay home and drink beer on Election Day, but not enough to swing us Blue. Here's hoping I'm wrong...

3. I been pleasantly shocked in the last couple of weeks

at the comments on my "Veterans for Obama" pin I wear in a small town.

Hillary is in Arkansas this afternoon for a rally this afternoon / fundraiser tonight. I'm really looking forward to seeing what a poll newer that 9/22 does to the electorial map on eletorial-vote.com........

Isn't his campaign sending Hillary there this weekend.

I could've sworn I read on DU this week that they are dispatching her to a rally there.

5. There was a rally at 4 here today at our state Capitol

with a fundraiser dinner this evening. Wish I could have gone!
