Cindy McCain blames PTSD on troops
During a recent interview with Marie Claire, Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) wife Cindy suggested that her husband has never had PTSD symptoms because “he was trained.” She also added that symptoms such as “cold sweats in the middle of the night” are reserved for the “the 18-year-olds who were drafted”:

Q: You met your husband after his POW days. To what extent is that still with you - or is it a part of history?
McCAIN: My husband will be the first one to tell you that that’s in the past. Certainly it’s a part of who he is, but he doesn’t dwell on it. It’s not part of a daily experience that we experience or anything like that. But it has shaped him. It has made him the leader that he is.

Q: But no cold sweats in the middle of the night?

McCAIN: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. My husband, he’d be the first one to tell you that he was trained to do what he was doing. The guys who had the trouble were the 18-year-olds who were drafted. He was trained, he went to the Naval Academy, he was a trained United States naval officer, and so he knew what he was doing.

basically

I wonder how she handles torture ?

During the torture, you can give a smell or sound to the subject
that will touch it off for years.

after he first returned home. She'd be the one to ask - but she's not likely talking if she values her paid lifetime health insurance.

9. Did You Know McSlime Was A POW?
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 09:46 PM by The Shadow
Poor rich Cindy, First off, when you are a pilot there is a disconnect between killing from the air as opposed to what ground troops experience (my apologies in advance to military aviators, but it is a proven fact, often told by pilots themselves. I do realize that pilots suffer from the affliction as well but not at the same high percentages of ground troops) McSlime hasn't got a clue as to what groundtroops must deal with in a war, he has never experienced that. Even being a POW isn't really the same, although McSlime's fellow POWs say that none of them (including McSlime) came through the experience unscathed. Gee Cindy, what about your husbands anger (PTSD) issues....where the fuck do you think that came from you fucking retard

11. Saw that. Very destructive. Discourages those who need help
by stigmatizing the condition and disparaging their need for help.

She thinks her hubby didn't need any help for PTSD. Thinks he handled it all just fine. McBombBomb isn't really fine. Getting some early dementia that may be from the PTSD stress.

14. Cindy Lou has got some nerve!
'His POWness is part of who he is, but he doesn't dwell on it. It's not part of a daily experience.' Really, Cindy? Have you listened to him lately? He talks about it every stinking day! Noun, verb, POW!

You are a horrid woman, Cindy Lou.

17. Egads...the 'common man'...

Other historians have argued the government became more sympathetic when it became evident that those affected were experienced soldiers and officers. Joanna Bourke stated, "society as a whole acknowledged that of those affected, some had war medals for valiant behavior under fire." <9> They were not cowards, but some of the best fighting men Britain had. Instead of acknowledging the disease's legitimacy among the troops, however, the government still discredited many of its victims. Attempts were made to "protect" officers of high status by classifying them as victims of "anxiety neurosis" or "neurasthenia," while common soldiers were classified as victims of "hysteria neurosis," a purely feminine disease. <10> The differing titles reflected the British government's willingness to make a clear distinction between the legitimate illness of its officers and the unfounded appeals of its psychologically weak common soldiers.

Poor Cindy. Yeah, her nutty husband and dad and her got caught up in the Keating love... those jet trips to the Bahamas, those fancy parties, her old man getting some Arizona Mafia protection on the beer franchise...

Poor fucking Cindy.

19. "That one" is sooo ignorant
Jeez, that one and these people ... can they get any stupider????

How does a pill addled, mobster daughter have a clue about a mental health issue like ptsd??

Plus, after McStupid won his congressional seat she moved back to Az and only lived with him part time, at least, from what I've read. How would she know about the sweats, bad nightmares? They don't happen every night, necessarily.

Oh, I could rant on but "my beautiful mind" is about to explode.
