I'm BITTER. You BITTER? Is it OK to use that word???
I'm not rubbing a raw nerve, am I? As the economy tanks, I don't want to hurt anybodys feelings. Haven't seen THAT WORD round here in a while. Just want to make sure it's permissable.

But I think that there are a lot of folks who are scared and that they will soon be bitter when they realize what is going to happen.

I'm bitter that Al Gore, the most qualified person in the country to be President, was cheated out of his rightful place in the White House by the flying monkey brigade, and we have been paying for it ever since.
