Why not another convention-type ball-park event the weekend before election ???
Just an idea ...

Why wouldn't the democrats organize another convention-type ball-park event
the weekend before election, and add a convention bounce on top of the good
poll numbers I hope Obama will have ???

2. Unnecessary and possibly counterproductive. Time to be president, then.
This is over, barring disaster.

And if a disaster happens, there would be no rally, anyway.

3. Because it won't likely bring in new voters or get the vote out.
Unless I'm mistaken, a big crowd rally will make all the current supporters happy, but I'm not sure it's an effective use of funds and energy in bringing out new voters or swaying undecideds.
