Hope I am not wrong in this BUT I believe Palin's popularity has crested
and the only people she will attract from now on are "rabble rousers".

4. She's a joke to anyone but the rabid right. And they all just want her
to repeat GOP attack lines and look pretty, essentially.

7. Even Peggy Noonan said as much on MTP last Sunday
She admitted Winky Dink is preaching to the choir basically.
She's certainly not winning over many independents and I heard
her numbers with women are down across the board. Of course,
Rich Lowry and all the Joe Beer Cans are still entranced but
the rest of the country isn't buying it anymore ...

9. She is now serving one purpose only - to bring out the racists
That is all - nothing about issues, nothing to bring any undecideds over to their side- she is working to bring out the racists and divide us.

She needs to be stopped.

10. Palin has done what she was supposed to - twice
And that was to energize the religious nutcase branch of the GOP who are so unimpressed with McCain that large swaths of them are praying for his death after he takes office. She first did it with her speech at the RNC and then at the debate, but for all intents and purposes, she probably could have tripped while coming on stage, picked her nose, wiped it in her hair, played a GameBoy while Biden answered, and for her closing statement, she could have clubbed a baby seal with a flagpole with the American flag still attached, and the religious-whackos would have thought she did great.

She's also done a few things she wasn't supposed to like: 1. Energize our base (Obama got about $10 million in one day after her RNC speech, and I don't doubt that donations were on an uptick for a while after the Veep Debate) 2. Pushed the all important independents over to us.
