Odd heads-up from my mother re Cindy McShame...

Called to tell me she was flipping through channels and heard a teaser on Faux Snooze that the Beerhall Princess was going to be discussing "how it felt to have a husband in Vietnam." :wtf: As far as I know, she and the mr didn't get together until after he got home, and was discharged from the service.

My mother was especially insulted, as my dad did 2 tours in Vietnam, and was awarded 2 Bronze stars for his efforts. This normally sweet 72 year old lady actually said to me: "What the fuck is that about?" :spray:

The detail in question is the "in Vietnam" part. Don't know if Faux positioned it that way, or if Mom "heard" it that way because of her automatic brain link between "military" and "Vietnam."

I have no idea what Cindy Lou is talking about, but it wouldn't surprise me if Fox Nooze helped her push the lie that she was married to McNasty while he was in Vietnam. They wouldn't dare drag Carol out and parade her on TeeVee, would they?

Because my dad was in the Army for 27 years, we know lots of military people. Only a very small minority of them have any respect at all left for McShame. My dad, in particular, loathes the fool.

20. From what I can tell in other reports, Cindy Lou

went off on Obama and said something to the effect of wanting to trade "shoes" (places!) with him as the spouse of a military officer. As we all know, Cindy didn't meet McShame until after he got back from Vietnam, and was a military liaison to the Senate (very light duty, trust me!) Haven't been able to confirm how Faux framed the event, but it sure set Mom off!
