Who was that old guy wandering around the stage?
I've read all the news reports, and I can't find it anywhere. He seemed to be walking back and forth when Obama was speaking. Why didn't Brokaw help that guy, he looked really confused. Was he one of the regular folk at the town hall, or did he wander in from somewhere. It was strange none the less.

2. Step. Step. Talk.
Pivot.

Step. Step. Talk.

Pivot.

The way McCain walked around the floor had me giggling the entire debate. Oh yeah, and the little chopping motions with the hand.

3. We wondered whether it was an RNC distraction trick or just confusion.
Whether the RNC prompted him to walk across the stage while Obama's speaking to interrupt the flow of his words. I can easily imagine the cynical RNC resorting to such measures when they know their policies have destroyed our country so all that is left is weapons of mass distraction.

Or perhaps he was looking for his usual beacon Cindy, who's close by at most of the town halls he does, in order to ground himself.

Or maybe he was trying to read the teleprompter of the other Old Has Been, Tom Broken.

7. He muttered that Obama was concerned about nuclear safety
At last night's debate, when McCain was talking about nuclear power, he muttered:

“Senator Obama says that it has to be safe, or disposable, or something like that… look, I was on Navy ships that had nuclear power plants. Nuclear power is safe, and it’s clean!”
---

Yea, that guy over there is so young and naive that he's concerned about nuclear safety. Why, the radiation never bothered anyone - we just used a mop and a bucket and cleaned any radioative spill right up.
