McCain is going to cut SS benefits, Medicare and Medicaid. He has to do this to pay for Bush's wars and tax cut's for those who don't need them, and some will tell you just that.
It will be too late seniors if you elect McCain, your SS will be cut for the rest of your life. Everybody that is on the fence, WAKE-UP!! The repubs have been trying to do away with SS since it's inception. Also note that in 1948 the repubs, led by Strom Thurmond, tried unsuccessfully tried to stop the GI Bill, senior vets take notice of that, what ever you've gotten from your service, if the repukes had their way you wouldn't have.

no follow up on it. This issue will carry Obama in PA and FL for sure.

the prescription drug bill as well as at AARP for endorsing it. I won't join AARP for that reason alone.

6. I think McLiar conveyed that he'd slash all the social programs and keep defense

And luckily the health care issue came up again and again so that Obama could point out that McLiar wants to cut medicare and social security.

And McLiar bragged about the wonderful $5000 rebate (tax credit) he'll give us to pay for insurance that will cost much more than that.

I was glad to see McLiar coming across quite clearly as one who would cut up all the safety nets

so that he could hold on to the tax cuts Bush gave to their constituents, the Top Two Percent.

8. I was just in line at a grocery store in my small Bible-belt retiree town

and heard political talk. I almost didn't go to that line but it was the shortest one at the time, so I did so, even with an 'Veterans for Obama' pin on.

The three seniors in front of me were PISSED about McCain's entitlement line last night. It was a pleasant surprise for me in this town!
