John McCain is a COWARD...
For the past 5 days his campaign has attacked Obama as a terrorist, has incited violence and stirred hatred at Palin rallies and the very first time that he has a national forum at which to confront Obama, man to man, what does he say? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In my book, if you aren't man enough to say something to someone's face that you have no problem saying anywhere else then you are NOT a man. For all the talk of John's heroism and integrity...KISS MY ASS...because he just flushed that moniker down the toilet.

1. So true.......
It is easy to insult people when they can't talk back. I wish Obama would have brought it up. And you know Quaylin will be back this week doing it again!

He is a idiot and a loser. And falling apart!

5. And he's getting Palin to do the hatchet work. Fails a fundamental test of leadership:
Don't ask the troops to do something you're not prepared to do yourself.

6. Exactly. Spot on. And I would like to ask Senator McCain,
Edited on Wed Oct-08-08 09:25 AM by youthere
If you INDEED feel that Obama is a dangerous terrorist then WHY have you not taken action as a United States Senator to have treason charges brought against him? Or at the very least, have him removed as a United States Senator? Why have you not mentioned this until 4 weeks before the election in which you are LOSING? Seems to me that if Barack Obama is a genuine threat to this nations security "sir" then it would appear that YOU are horribly confused about where your OWN loyalties lie.

7. This won't be missed in the Midwest
I grew up int he Midwest and since then have lived on both coasts...One of the things that sticks out about the Midwest to me is the straight-forwardness of communication. If you had something to say, you said it to someone's face. End of story. Phoniness is not a valued quality, at least in my home state.

I can't imagine this will go by unnoticed. It struck me immediately as McCain knowing he was a liar and not having the guts to say it in person, because he knew it would be shot down. His use of Palin is the cheapest shot because he is counting on no one hitting back at her because she is a "girl", to use the old school yard rule. How cowardly can one be? It really doesn't get any lower than this.

8. He obviously doesn't believe the 'Terrorist' talk, himself
He and his ankle-nipping attack puppy have focused their campaign on branding Obama a terrorist or, at minimum, a terrorist sympathizer. By way of recent ads, they have outright accused him of lying.

If McCain truly believed that there was anything at all to this, he would have taken the opportunity to confront Obama at the debate.

That he didn't do this is evidence that McCain either does not have the courage of his convictions, or that he simply doesn't believe the bullshit he and his campaign have been spewing for nearly a week.

Terrorist sympathizer is a serious charge. If McFuckedandheknowsit honestly believed it to be true, he would miss no opportunity to shout it to the American people.

Hell, he would see it as his patriotic duty to confront a terrorist sympathizer.
