1. No, they're going to hate Bush more.
McCain lost the election. Bush lost the party.

9. I disagree.
Freepers LOVE Palin. I wouldn't be surprised if she ran in the 2012 race.

14. They may love her, but the party won't.
If they lose in November, they will do some serious soul-searching. Palin will be lucky to win another term in Alaska.

15. She'd have no chance.
Not because she lost this race but because she's largely incapable of getting on a stage and not being completely out of her element against smart people. She'd never survive the primaries. It's easy for her to attack Obama (with whom she agrees on nothing) and pander to her base (I mean the capacity to simply do these things, not do them successfully)...it's harder to substantively debate someone like Romney who is both smarter than her and agrees with her on 95% of the issues. I might be reaching to say this but I suspect she has no concept of nuance.

16. That's what I've thought
McCain is done by this time next month. Palin will be back like a fucking infection. Won't matter what her actual resume/accomplishments/career look like between now and then. They like that moron because she can recite programmed talking points and she has the usual gunloving taxhating biblethumping warmongerer juvenile views they do.

You don't need a brain to be the GOP's favorite candidate.

You don't need a plan to be the GOP's favorite candidate.

You don't need credentials to be the GOP's favorite candidate.

In short, you don't need to ever be right about anything to be the GOP's favorite candidate. You can just recite whatever shit stupid people want to hear and they'll run out to vote for you in droves. Won't matter this time because fortunately enough smart and average people have had it with Republicans and want them out. But from January 21st, 2009 - November 3rd, 2012 the GOP and its enablers will shriek endlessly that every problem in the world is Obama's fault, so the stupids will have another candidate to represent them in their quest against reality. And I'm sure Palin will be back then.

6. No, they won't....
Obama will be their target. Just like the Clinton years. Everything will be his fault, the world would have been better if Obama had lost, etc., etc.

Idiots never change.
