Why do they hate John Kerry so much? That's all they do! They just plain hate. John Kerry's name was mentioned 39 times at the RNC while Bush's name was mentioned 5 times at the DNC. Zell Miller's keynote speech was a personal attack on Kerry. The delegates chanted flip-flop with anger, wore purple heart band-aids to mock Kerry, and cheered wildly whenever anyone on stage mocked Kerry in a similar fashion. If those are the calm delegates, just imagine what the more out spoken people behind the delegates think of Kerry. They are 100% Kerry-haters. Well I learned from Fox News that you can't win an election based on hate, I hope Fox News is right for once. Those Kerry-haters should learn not to hate. After all, most of them are Christian.

1. Because the polarization in politics encouraged...
... by the Republicans in the last twenty years has grown from disagreements in political views to a contest of absolutes. In order to win, the Republicans have cast political contests as all-out battles between good and evil. Anyone opposing them is, therefore, evil.

It is the principal sickness of our time.

2. Because Kerry exposed their corruption in BCCI and IranContra
and will likely task Eliot Spitzer with further investigations into the outlaw financial institutions who abetted terrorists for decades.

That's what Bushies fear because most of them made their money all these years with these same dirty financiers.

3. They hated Clinton

They hate Kerry.

We could have nominated ZELL MILLER and they would hate him too.
(and, perversely, he would probably hate himself!)

They know they are in the minority, and it's only through fear
and lies that they can maintain power. And power is all they
care about.

11. They hated Clinton for a different reason.
He came in popular, he remained popular for eight years, and he left office popular. No matter what they did they couldn't drag him "off the throne". They hated that.

4. They don't hate Osama that much...
Didn't mention him once, and actually cheered a couple times when they mentioned terrorism...

They weren't running around the floor with bandaids mocking Al Qaeda...they were mocking purple hearts and the notion that giving up part of yourself for your fellow citizen was in any way a good thing.

5. Well.. . You got your real Christians. . . and you got your FAUX . . . .
. . .'christians'. Like a 'christian' 'lady' I heard on a local call-in talk show, who claimed to be "a REAL 100% christian",but was spewing hate and venom like a spitting Cobra.

6. They hate all things Democrat!!! Your suprised?!!
We could have cloned John F Kennedy or FDR and they would hate them too! They would have a "PT Boatvets for Truth" smear campaign claiming Kennedy was no war hero!! It doesn't matter who the Democrat candidate is! They hate because that is what their hearts are full of. Sad really. I bet your typical Freeper has ulcers that bleed like volcanoes! I imagine you'll also find more cases of wife beating, alchoholism and child abuse among Freepers than you will any other demographic! Seriously.

They use wedge issues like gay marriage and abortion to demonize us Democrats. They always will. Get used to it.

8. Hate is what fascists do best
It's how they attempt to unify their subjects, by directing all their frustrations toward the other, rendering them unable to think rationally. The RNC are the Nazis here, Kerry the Jew.

10. Because they are afraid of him
He threatens their lock on power, and they know he'll open all the closets.

Ask any arachnaphobe. We hate most that which we fear most.

16. I don't think it's anything personal
They hate him because he can kick Bush out of the white house.
If it was someone else trying to kick Bush out, they would have hated him just the same.

They don't hate Kerry, they hate that he presents a strong and viable alternative to their disasasterous policies.

18. They hate for two reasons.
1. Democrats are the only thing standing between them and a Banana Republic.
2. They can't run on their record. Pretty sad when you've OWNED this country for most of the last three years and have nothing to show for it.

19. Because their record sucks and they have to DETRACT
attention from it somehow. Best way: smear your opponent's character.
