Congresswoman Blackburn won't hold McCain or Palin
accountable for what has been said and reported from their rallies. "My goodness gracious David" "I haven't talked to the campaign" "Ayers is a legitimate issue"

HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!

2. Exactly the word -- WRONG
I was saying that word through clenched teeth almost the entire time she was talking. Why can't she just say it is wrong? She went into an endless spiel about why Obama's relationship with Ayers is relevant (which is a lie all by itself) and could not bring herself to say that it is *wrong* and should be discouraged and sanctioned.

I think I despise her as much as I despise Palin. (goodness gracious dave)

4. She is my congress person
Her district is very solid republican. The last well funded Democrat pulled about 40% of the vote in that district about 12 years ago. There had been no serious democratic money in that district since. There is usually a principled nobody in the race on the democratic side but they only get about 33-35% of the vote.

5. Hopefully
after we win control of the White House and Congress the national party will make it a priority to find serious challengers for certain select troublemakers on the other side.

No district is 100% safe for anybody.
