5. Good point
Anyone who has had to consider early voting in any state will have been compelled to decide by this time. I just wonder what the early voting numbers really are in those states and how much of an impact it has.

2. 7 of the last 9 Ohio polls have Obama ahead.
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 02:16 PM by Schulzz
The other two have McCain ahead, but only by 1. I still think it will be very close there.

6. Ohio matters
But if we win Florida(which he's up now in the polls), doesn't Obama win regardless?

13. Obama needs ONE of OH, FL, VA, NC, CO

Assuming he holds all Kerry states + IA + NM, which are all pretty much locks by now. With ANY of OH, FL, VA, NC, CO Obama reaches 270 EVs. Right now, he is ahead in ALL of them, by anything from a slim margin (NC) to out of MOE leads (CO, VA, FL). Also if he loses ALL those states but wins NV, he gets 269 EVs which is a tie and he would be elected by the hoise state delegations.

Bottom line, electoral match looks great for Obama :woohoo:

17. This is amazing. If Obama is connecting with Ohio voters then its over.
In my opinion Ohio was his biggest challenge of the battleground states.
