Did anyone else flip between the 2000 & the 2004 * speech???
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 12:31 AM by a kennedy
It's a repeat of the prime time special, but oh my gawd, *'s speech from 2000 and 2004 are d*mn near identical. C-SPAN I AND C-SPAN II are running *'s acceptance speeches, one from 2000, and the one from tonight, and oh my gawd, the speeches are damn near word for word alike!!! Has anyone else noticed this??? I've been switching back and forth, and I am not kidding, they are the same goll dang speech....except he's wearing a red tie in the 2000 speech, and a blue one in 2004. Is anyone else living in this time warp????

1. I thought it was great they showed his speech from 2000. But I just
don't have the stomach for either one. Thanks for having the guts to watch not only one but two of those monstrosities from bush.

2. very interesting
didn't watch the 2000 deal. But all he had to do was add 9/11 comments and it's the same speech, huh? Why does this not surprise me?

4. I noticed it! If we had real journalist as talking heads on t.v. they
would compare the two and make a big deal of this. Alas, the media is comprised of whores and hacks!

6. Tonight's speech was 2000's speech with 9-11 and terra-ism thrown in.
Bush appears to have learned to relax his face a little since 2000.

Other than that, no real differences.
