Some good senate polls in the last few days as well! Summary here:
Edited on Mon Oct-06-08 05:02 PM by thesubstanceofdreams
ALL of the races below are for a REPUBLICAN seat :woohoo:

NC, Hagan +9 (battleground seat which is clearly trending dem)
NH, Shaheen +8 (same as above)
ME, Collins, +10 (ok, this one is not good but am I correct Collins is one of the few decent republicans left?)
GA, Chambliss +1 (This wasn't supposed to even be competitive, according to the last few polls it's within MoE!!!)
CO, Udall +5 (Another formerly close race which looks safer and safer for the democrat)
MN, Franken +9 (Probably a bit of an outlier but with Obama pulling ahead by double digits it's likely Franken is a couple of points ahead)

:woohoo:

1. Collins is NOT a decent Republican. Please don't buy into her campaign mantra.
And I just got a poll saying she was only 9 points ahead.

She has supported every proposal Bush has put forth. She voted for Alito. She was Chair of the oversight committee and never held a hearing looking into spending abuses in Iraq.

She needs to be gone and we're working hard to elect Tom Allen to replace her. Please please please do not consider her a "moderate" Republican.

3. Thanks for the clarification!

Much appreciated. ME is the only blue state where Obama is doing actually a bit worse than Kerry. Puzzling if you ask me but still the overall trend is great for Obama and the democratic candidates.

5. Here are the latest poll numbers I was given (for Maine)
If the November 2008 general election for President were held today and the candidates were Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain, for whom would you vote or are you undecided?

Obama ......................................................52
McCain......................................................35
Undecided..................................................13

6. Great numbers!

Rasmussen and other polls have Obama leading by single digits in Maine. If the real difference is 17 points there may be hope in the senate race!

2. So basically, the Virginia and New Mexico races are over?
Ha! :-)

It will be great having two Udalls in the United States Senate.
