I took a look at the official McCain website to see if they were pushing their anti-Obama racist smears there (answer: no -- they apparently want to pretend on that site that McCain is actually an honorable candidate), and noticed a menu bar tab called "Coalitions." Clicking on this shows the following "coalitions" people can supposedly join:
"African American Coalition" "American Indians for McCain" "Americans With Disabilities for McCain" "Arab Americans for McCain" (wait a second, do you suppose any Arabs are named "Hussein?") "Asian Americans for McCain" "Bikers for McCain" (Dennis Hopper was in "An American Carol," guess he's leading this intiative) "Catholics for McCain" "Democrats and Independents for McCain" "Environmental Stewardship Coalition" ("DRILL BABY DRILL... and let's save some seals, guys." "Farm and Ranch Team" "Future Leaders for McCain" "Health Care Professionals" "Honest and Open Election Committee" (BWA HA HA HA! George Orwell is rollin'...) "Hispanics for McCain" "Jewish Advisory Coalition" (One member: Joe Lieberman.) "Lawyers for McCain" (Bill & Hillary Clinton, honorary chairs) "Lebanese Americans for McCain" "Racing Fans for McCain" (Now we know why there's a confederate flag on the General Lee.) "Small Business Leaders" "Sportsmen for McCain" "Veterans for McCain" "Women for McCain"
The only thing is, if you click on many of these supposedly vast organizations of McCain supporters, such as the "African American Coalition," there is a bogus-sounding spiel from some nameless African American speaking as to why McCain is the man for the job... and a sign-up sheet. The list of events for this organization is noticably devoid of any actual get-togthers for this "Coaltion of African Americans" against Obama.
How much do you want to bet these organizations are total bullshit designed to trick vulnerable nutjobs into thinking they're part of a vast movement for McCain that doesn't exist?
