Let me get something straight here - you're offended at McCain's involvement the so called "Keating 5" a charge that he was completely exonerated from by the special prosecutor of the case alone with John Glenn. But you think it is old news to bring up Obama's ties to a domestic terrorist like Ayers who as recently as 9/11/01 (of all days) was quoted in the New York Times as saying "I don't regret setting bombs?" See, the problem with your logic is you as with all people of politics are cherry picking for your own side. How about this little story in which Obama and Ayers on the board of the Woods Fund granted money to the Arab America Action Network (AAAN) that has publicly stated that the establishment of Israel was a "catastophe." According to the Records, Obama was the Director of the Woods fund from 1999 to 2002, during which the fund granted $75,000 to the AAAN but that is not where the connection ends. The AAAN held a fundraiser for Obama in the obvious political back-scratching of the Chicago political sphere. And, furthermore the founder of the AAAN, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, has spoken out many times against Israel and has worked for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) while the PLO was involved in anti-western terrorism. The PLO has also been identified by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization.
