5. I really am in disbelief

But I wonder if this is all just a setup for 'the big comeback'...the mavericks are on their way, never say die bla bla bla...NORTH CAROLINA up by 7?

Hell, I love it, but we still have a month to go.

6. Palin a disaster: will she drop out???
Palin's debate performance leads to huge moves towards Obama across the spectrum.

Will Palin drop out soon after having been completely humiliated in the debate?

8. We gotta keep NC a serious battleground
We fight no farther "up" than there.

If we make the battle lines in North Carolina, Indiana, West Virginia, Montana, Georgia and Missouri we can't lose.

I wanna actually see NC, MO and IN in our column on November 4.

9. I just heard one of those Liberty (VA) University students saying she switched reg. from NC to VA .
I'm sure you've heard how Liberty University (Fallwell-founded univ. in Lynchburg, VA) is cancelling classes on election day to make sure all the little fundies will vote for McCain (also getting the RA's in the dorms to make sure everyone is registered in VA).

On NPR this a.m., this female Liberty student from North Carolina said something like, "North Carolina is definitely going to go red -- I'm sure of that -- so I switched my voter registration to Virginia so I can help Virginia go red."

Guess the joke's on you, young Fundie.

I was laughing in my car thinking "well McCain's going to lose NC too."

22. How many students actually go to Liberty?
Ok, so I just decided to answer my own question.

5,814.

Now not all of the 5,814 are going to vote.

So let's say 4,814 vote.

Will they all vote for McCain? Doubtful.

So let's say 3,814 vote for McCain and 1,000 vote for Obama.

Will the difference in Virginia really be 1,000 votes? Doubtful.

12. We're doing great work here
This is a direct result of every person that has been volunteering here. No one would have ever thought that NC would even be close, but thanks to everyone in NC, we changed that.

I'll be volunteering at a BO HQ all week and then at MoveOn's HQ this weekend.

17. Damn! When will there finally be the one outlier poll that is great news for McCain?
Edited on Mon Oct-06-08 03:14 PM by Schulzz
So that the media can forget the 100+ polls that look great for Obama and talk about:
-Why can't Obama close the deal?
-the race is in dead heat
-all battleground states are toss-ups
- Obama never hits 50%

again?

24. It's what they get for being arrogant
They focused on Ohio and Florida; as a result, the other battleground states were weakly defended and easily taken.
