9. 2 points away from below 10,000
The theory being that if it dips below 10,000 the economy will be back front and center instead of Palin calling Obama a terrorist.

13. yes, we need to grab the headlines back
however, i don't want this to happen at the expense of the american ppl losing their jobs..
I want Obama to START ATTACKING MACFLY FIRST- I don't want thim to be on the defensive like he was a month ago. I want him to begin attacking first and responding.. This morning should have been "OBAMA ATTACKS McCAin" NOT, "Obama RESPONDS TO MccAin"

10. The question was never whether the money could stop this but whether it would be worse w/o it
that will always be a hard one to judge in hindsite. However, I think most people might now be willing to admit the economy isn't sound.

16. Guys...this is not the way to check WS. The market fluctuates about every milisecond.
You have to wait until around 12-2-4pm to kind of get an idea of what's going on. I'd actually wait until 4pm when the market closes to figure out what's going on. If a bank calls in with some good numbers stock explode. The bail out has been passed and balancing it will take time, once it has, you have to give it a week. The stupid thing was passed on Friday. We'll see really where the market is by the end of the week.

But most definitely as a poster did say...the economy is far from sound.

Seriously, what's up with these stupid day-trader threads? Studying the minute by minute movements of the DJIA is insanity. I wish people could keep this discussion to the daily market thread in LBN.
