Ne Dem State Chairman: GOP Panics: Palin in Omaha

You've probably heard that Governor Sarah Palin is visiting Omaha tonight to campaign for four more years of disastrous Bush policies.

Governor Palin's visit indicates something that we already know: the Repulicans are worried. They're worried that we are more organized. They're worried that we have more enthusiasm. But most of all, they're worried that Nebraskans are beginning to understand that the Democratic Party is the Party that stands up for everyday folks like them.

Help us remain on offense:

While today's events may be a sign of Republicans' concern, it's also a sign that they are going to fight hard to win here. And as we've seen before, when Republicans are backed into a corner they'll do anything to avoid talking about the issues. They'll go negative, and they'll shamelessly distort the truth about our great candidates.

We beat these outlandish attacks by out-organizing, out-mobilizing, and out-energizing the Republicans. Be a part of it:

Governor Palin's visit will certainly attract plenty of media attention. But while the Republicans will secure the headlines in tomorrow's paper, your contribution today will help us secure the votes we need to emerge victorious on Election Day.

Thanks for all you do,

Steve

2. Nebraska and Maine have proportional EVs
It is not winner take all. If Obama carries the House District containing Omaha, he will win one of their electoral votes. Omaha has a large African American and Democratic population and is the biggest city in Nebraska. He is making the McW campaign fight for every SINGLE EV.

3. Up here in Maine,...
...I have a hard time seeing McSame winning our 2nd cd, and that is the more rural and conservative district. From 92-04, both congressional districts went for the Democratic nominee. Maine was one of the few states that went for John Kerry by a wider margin than it did for Al Gore.

PEACE!
