Frame it as the McCain campaign pissing on the dead of 9/11

That's what they're doing with the Ayers thing, that's a fact. They are trying to play on a public fear of terrorism brought about by 9/11. Once again, they are desecrating the graves of the dead and shitting on their remains in order to make political capital. They are sick, sick people. They are political necrophiles and someone - whether it's Obama at the debate or a 527 group - needs to make that very clear. Not in the same terms as I've done, of course, but in calling them out on making a tiny, tenuous link between Obama and the man once on the same board as him into an association, as a friendship with the sort people who want to kill innocents. It's beyond the pale.

The very thought that a group of people could even dream of using a US & world tragedy as a vehicle for political gain in this way is beyond sickening. I suggest that - in concept - it's worse than even the swiftboating of Kerry.
