The long long process of this election is finally getting to me. I do not want to see anymore commericals ours or theirs.

I do not want to sit through another debate.

I do not want to hear commentary on another debate.

I do not want to answer another phone call from anyone in the party.

I do not want to hear Wolf Blitzer or Anderson, or anyone else comment on how our candidate did today

I want to vote.

I want to start planning the turn around for the country.

I especially do not want to hear the term "my friends" or "joe sixpack" for at least six months.

I want someone to replace Tom Brokaw on Meet the Press.

1. You can go vote NOW (if you are in Iowa as your profile says). I voted on Thursday.
The debates and other stuff is going to happen anyway though.

2. I got four phone calls tonight.. ARRRGHHHH.. and we are not even
a targeted state.. Yep, I have thought about voting early, but that is the one thing I love about the process.. standing in the gym with all the neighbors early in the morning,, all of us with our coffee, just catching up with each other if it is a big turn out.. which it should be.. that part I love :)

3. Patience, peace.
Fuck the Hawkeyes. Fuck the Cubs. Fuck the Phillies( I grew up in Philly). I'm focused on ONE thing only. I'd do ANYTHING to make it happen.

4. I think the rest of the country is done with it as well
I predict much lower ratings for the next two debates - of course lower than the VP one, but also much lower than the first Pres. one.

America is tuning out while scrambling to make ends meet every day - let's hope the country ignores the swiftboating as well.

6. I know how you feel. :(
I just want it done, sometimes. I takes a lot out of me. I look forward to an Obama presidency, and I want it now, and I don't want to hear Palin's lies over and over again. I definitely how you feel.

9. I see her on my TV, I dive for the remote.
I would suggest you do what I did with this election stress (and a lot of the other stress I had), but I know everybody can't take a month long vacation.

(I feel so slothful telling you this. I'm not being terribly productive so far for October :hide:)

10. Well I am going to take election day and the next day off
from work.. and just celebrate !!!!

I hear you on the remote. This is the truth, during the last debate, I just could not listen to it, just like nails on a blackboard. .. My husband went upstairs to watch it, and I kept track through the site here, and then it went down :(. so I tried watching it with the sound off.. My tv then automatically does a scroll at the bottom with the text..

But then she was winking.. well, the tv had to go off in the family room.
