today, I had a patient who's a big political wheel in one of the local unions which is largely Caucasian and he said that what they're telling their membership who absolutely won't vote for an African-American is "Fine...stay home or at the very least, don't vote for McCain, O.K.?" People seem to at least outwardly, assent to this 'strategery' (sic).
