If I know Obama and his campaign, he's been preparing for the return of Ayres/Rezko/Wright...
...for MONTHS now. They haven't just been sitting around wringing their hands and dreading that the Republicans would address it.

And believe me, they're going to fire back on the offensive. McCain doesn't exactly have a lack of skeletons in HIS closet.

1. It's been used and has not worked...
a rehash won't change anything.

4. That won't stop them from trying--simply because they have nothing else.
They lose on the issues. They lose on side-by-side comparisons of competence. They just fucken LOSE. And the only way this shit could conceivably help them is to provide a bogus explanation if they manage to steal the election. And somehow, I suspect Obama has that one covered too.

7. Agreed - People are really starting to pay attention
So I think they'll try again. And I'm also sure that the Obama campaign is ready. McCain has too many vulnerabilities going right back to who helped him get into Congress including his "not so clean" father in law and fil's associations to the power brokers of Arizona. McCain is a bought and paid for sap. Maverick my fat ass. :D

2. Any political campaign worth its salt already has a laundry list of responses...
...to any problems that might arise do to their candidate's past.

5. I agree.
His campaign reminds me of my mother saying, "Bide your time and chose carefully.", not that I always listened :) Many times I've been anxious about why he's not hitting back or hitting harder, etc. but his campaign seems extraordinarily adept at timing and chosing.
