"CBS News’ chief political consultant Marc Ambinder reports that a group called the Judicial Confirmation Network will spend over $1 million on a TV and print advertising campaign in a smaller markets in the key swing states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania featuring some controversial figures Barack Obama has been associated with. The Ayers business is truly the stupidest and most irrelevant smear in modern political history. Some guy who was in the Weathermen 40 years ago sat on a board that Obama may have had contact with 10 years ago? Or something? That's the smear?

It's completely farcical, and also shows you how very, very desperate these people are becoming.

Nobody cares about any of this Swift Boat shit anymore. That it's all so irrelevant and petty only heightens that. It's almost pathetic, really, that some very foolish people are throwing good money after bad behind these densely stupid and utterly ineffective ads.
