Springsteen Adds More Obama Dates
I hope they come and do a Madison rally like Kerry did in 2004. That would be amaaaaaaaaaazing!

Before he shares a stage with Billy Joel Oct. 16 in New York to raise money for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, Bruce Springsteen hits the road this weekend for pro-Obama shows in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.

Springsteen fan site Backstreets.com reports the Boss is expected to play a free acoustic show tomorrow afternoon at an Obama rally in Philadelphia (ticket information is here), followed by a set Sunday at Ohio State University, and then a headline performance Monday at a rally Eastern Michigan University.

The Michigan rally comes as the McCain campaign has decided to cede Michigan to Obama while focusing on building support in states where the GOP candidate's numbers are better.

4. We're Notre Dame fans in our household. We're a rare breed in our neck of the woods.
I tried to see Bruce during the OSU Kerry Rally but had to go home sick (w whooping cough-one of the downfalls of canvassing) before he took stage. I came down with a bad cold on thursday and am crossing my fingers I make it to this year's event.

:hi:
