One month to the day, folks
It started here

It's going to end here

But, first, John McCain & Co. is going to spend a month here

So, everyone, ramp it up. Nobody's expecting a good Christmas gift this year anyway, so give, give give. Write those letters. Make those calls, sign up for GOTV if you haven't already. And keep the snark down when you're around those undecideds. To the surprise of a lot of them, they are actually thinking of voting for this guy.

1. Keep the snark down when you talk to the undecideds...
Yes, it's why I get it out of my system here. They're a fickle bunch. On the bright side, two co-workers said yesterday they were voting for O - one I swore was a right winger, the other a multimillionaire surgeon (I'm an RN).

Good times!

3. Same thing here

I saw a longtime, lifelong Republican business acquaintance from South Dakota this week who told me, unsolicited, that he is going to vote straight D for the first time in his life. The House Republican, Limbaughesque revolt over the bailout is what sealed the deal for him. He just doesn't see the Republicans as capable of governing in their present condition. That encounter, more than anything, confirmed for me the polls are telling the truth.
