The faint black line on the left side of her hand/finger against the white background does not match what happens with the boy's right wrist against a light background, as well as the top of Sarah Palin's right hand (knuckle) against a white background. In fact, it doesn't even match what the rest of the girl's fingers look like against the white background. The finger may have been added in. Then again, shadows don't always do the same thing in all parts of things.

13. Another issue

If it was originally a fist, there would be more space between the index and ring finger since the middle finger would take up more room. That space would have to be convincingly filled, but to me it would be EXTREMELY difficult to do that without being obvious. Now, they could've replaced the entire hand but the shadowing is perfect and I just don't see that as a likely possibility.

4. It's a photoshop. Look at the image's EXIF properties.

It says it was modified by Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows version on October 3, 2008.

The original creation date was June 23, 2008 and the photo was taken with a FujiFilm FinePix S5200 digital camera.

So, the "original" photo, without the flipoff is likely from one of Palin's events in Alaska long before she was even in anyone's radar.

if it's been modified, it's a very clean job. I can't see any artifacts. The EXIF data could easily be meaningless. Whatever the source of the original, it would likely have to be resized for Web use, hence the modification date.

This child looks a bit older then Piper and the images I've seen of Piper have her wearing her hair parted more on one side than ub the middle.

23. lol! Someone posted on another thread that it was photoshopped, using Palin's lack of a wedding

ring as one of the reasons. I replied that it has been observed a few times that she doesn't seem to wear one. Her husband doesn't either.
