4. Dave to Brian Williams: How are you?..

'I'm a maverick, Dave. I'm not going to answer your questions. I don't care what you ask.' (paraphrasing)

Brian Williams: 'My wife compared the debate to seeing two kids playing. Only one's playing with Legos and the other with blocks.'

9. Also..
Dave to Brian Williams..'shouldn't we worry about her lack of experience?'

Williams: 'You can look at it two ways. Many people no doubt found it refreshing to not see an older white male on stage. The other way to look at it is that it's September 11, 2001. The President is airborne somewhere and the Secret Service won't let him land anywhere, because they don't know what's going on. The VP is in the White House Command Center and effectively in charge. That's part of the job too. People will be making their decisions based on one of those 2 factors.'

22. Yes, this is important observation
I was surprised, thought, that he tried to compare this race to "Eisenhower Kennedy." Kennedy did not run against Eisenhower but against Nixon who was only a couple of years older. Sure, he represented the establishment, but there was no an old experienced soldier vs. the young exciting one.

26. Ouch!! I wonder if Brian WIlliams isn't smarting from Brokaw bogarting the debate ...
... moderation.

Gotta hand it to him. He summarized the debate pretty damn well in two quick sentences, and in a way that the average person could assimilate.

27. Good point. She's sat for interviews with both ABC & CBS, now ...
... but no NBC. That can't be making Williams too happy.

BriWi should start doing what Rachel Maddow did... invite her for an interview session -- every night until the campaign relents.

21. Wow, this was worse than the first nite he let her have it.
It was the same as online comments coming right thru my TV. Fantastic.

And I haven't heard Williams throw these kind of jabs before. Palin will regret the day that she attacked the press.

30. LOL, Dave hit a perfect storm with his feud with John McCain
The preview of his first rant went viral immediately-- got ONE MILLION HITS in just one day. I'm not surprised to see that he's still on this subject because he has the right to get pissed off. It's not a presidential thing to do to fucking lie in an American's face about the BS that John McCain did.

I'll be looking around for the video clip of the Dave Letterman and Brian Williams interview. Sounds like fun!
