My thoughts on the debate
I consider Palin (Gidget/Hitler) to be a complete and dangerous fraud. She offers no ideas of her own. She didn't even know the name of our commanding general in Afghanistan. She kept referring to him by the name of a civil war general (McClellan). She seemed thoroughly brain washed by the McCain campaign. On one hand, she kept saying that Biden was looking backwards too much, yet she kept bringing up Ronald Reagan (McCain does the same thing). She made what I consider to be a frightening statement when she mentioned that she would work to expand the powers of the VP under the constitution. I thought it was great when Biden responded by explaining exactly what the constitution says about the duties of the VP. I also enjoyed how Biden described Cheney as the most dangerous VP ever. And I thought it was great when Biden outlined why McCain isn't really a "maverick". I felt that Biden did a great job when they discussed health care and foreign policy. It was a good debate, but it was hard for me to stomach Gidget's schoolgirl-like ramblings and simplistic responses. I'm sure she gave the right-wingers a hard on.
