Last night's debate, if this has been discussed, I apologize
Did anyone else think that both candidates were reading notes as they spoke? I first thought it from Biden and I saw Palin turning papers over. I've never seen this before in the debates.

1. They both had notes, but palin also had memorized complete speechified
answers that recited. They were timed to get the most words/slogans under each time limit. Biden gave reflective answers to actual questions. Palin just let out whatever speech she thought came closest to the question. Most of the time, she wasn't even close imo.

2. Here's a video of Palin reading; I do think at times Biden was
referring to notes, but I didn't get the impression he had a script he was reading from.
