Getting that Gift!
White House hopeful Barack Obama brought his motorcade to a halt Friday
to dash out and buy flowers on his 16th wedding anniversary prior to a "romantic dinner."

Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) greets the residents of Glenside,
Pennsylvania, after buying a bouquet of white roses in the town for his wife Michelle
on the occasion of their 16th wedding anniversary, October 3, 2008.

3. Must be the "Bradley Effect" taking its toll!
Too bad for McCain that his selection of his running mate will make the "Dumbass Effect" perform even stronger in the voting booth. :)

4. There is an aspect of this that makes me proud to be an Obama supporter on a whole other level.
Just the compassion and heart of the man. It will be great to have a First Family of love in the White House. Regardless of their political persuasion I would think that most women would be moved by Obama's gesture in thinking of his wife that way.

5. I love seeing pictures of the ecstatic supporters in the crowds.
People are just so happy to see him. The crowds are all-American, well mixed, all shapes and ages and so so happy. McCaint's crowds look cramped, herded.. their eyes shifting always to his "handlers" and the professional noise makers he always has with him.

If this election is stolen, we will be an unhappy, demoralized place.

12. Love that he actually went out and bought them himself.
Didn't send an errand boy to do it for him.

And LOVE the kids being so excited to see him.

Thanks for sharing! :)
