Palin Quoted Reagan Calling Medicare Communism
Alaskan dingbat Sarah Palin proudly quoted Ronald Reagan last night, you betcha. So what was that weird quote about, anyway? It’s from this LP propaganda record, part of a “campaign organized by the American Medical Association to block the passage of Medicare.”

Here’s what Palin quoted:

VIDEO

Ha ha, she wants to end Medicare, to stop the communists, and make old people die. She hates old people.

2. She used the line "there you go again" and also spoke about the shining city on the hill
She was desperately trying to channel Ronnie last night, but didn't have anything original to add to the national debate.

3. I am CONVINCED they had her watch old Reagan debate tapes

While Reagan had a greater intellect than Palin (and he really did, he had a 'broad vision' that Palin lacks) - his lack of attention the details are legendary. So, he used the debates to talk about what HE wanted to talk about - in generalities, platitudes and sunny optimism. I saw it all through the debate last night. They trained Palin with Reagan.

5. Karmic irony at work here: today, communism is proclaimed on Wall Street.
The thing they hated most, communism, rules the land. Every move they made lead us to this day. It is the definition of a Greek Tragedy: the thing that you most fear and work to avoid actually occurs BECAUSE of your actions to avoid it. Lenin and Reagan, comrades in arms.
