Two Post Debate Impressions: Palin The Politician

1. Palin is utterly disingenuous; she is perfectly adept at being the hokey-dollfaced window dressing Republican

2. To Palin's Opponents: Palin has a murderously slick tactic of girlish simpering while twisting the knife with which she sticks you, while alternately gushing a homespun drawl of whimsy wrapped in perky eye-batting--not blinking--emphasis. This is performance art perfected to manipulate Mr. & Mrs. Joe Sixpack and media soundbytes, but its roots probably hail back to gradeschool/junior high days of currying favoritism/attention seeking. I have no doubt she was superb at it.

I would not care to see the private, negative downside of this woman, nor would I trust her with political power. I believe she finds it too exhausting to perform affairs of open government, opting for the easy non-scrutiny and executive privilege as has her predecessors Misters Bush and Cheney. Politics is to Palin, an amoral game, hence devoid, too, of ethics and it is a game she plays to win. She would cast her lot with the rich and powerful to curry favors, gain power, and promulgate their agendas--Palin is made-to-order Republican.
