Sick of hearing she was 'folksy'
They should be using 'cutesy'. She sucked and I can't believe some of the gushing (all pukes I might add) that I've been hearing. I don't think they have a care in the world about putting a know nothing into the WH. Country first my ass.

1. Cute and folksy gets you killed
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 11:53 PM by GrizzlyMan
It gets us all killed. That's what bothers me so much about the morons who love her because "she's just so down to earth".

Guess what morons? People like that in positions like the one she is running for are dangerous. Not just because of their beliefs, but because they are INCAPABLE of leading in a time and crisis.

8. I fully agree. Dubya was "folksy" and someone people could have a beer with...
at a BBQ.

Who the eff cares? What are the odds that I, or you, or anyone, will ever get to have a beer at a BBQ with a politician? It's freaking stupid to base a decision on that.

I want both my President and Veep to be the two smartest people in the room. I want them to have my mouth agape at the power of their knowledge.

We've tried 8 years of stupid and bullying. It's time for at least 8 years of intelligence and discussion.

7. Karen Walker was folksy too
in a drunken bimbo sort of way.

"Gosh, I don't think that I've ever been stressed out. Why would I be? I've got practically no responsibilities, my job's a breeze and I've got a KILLER rack. Good morning."

Isn't that what Sarah Palin really thinks?

9. It was actually vulgar
She was so predictable that I was almost laughing when listening on the radio.

You really should try listening to the debate on the radio - she sounds horrible and without substance. If it wasn't for looks & poise in front of the camera, she'd get the boot.

13. Folksy is NOT a compliment up here in the Northeast
Edited on Fri Oct-03-08 12:43 AM by HughMoran
So, some of us are not necessarily being complimentary when we call her "folksy" - it depends where you are situated :D

16. Didn't she actually give a "shout-out"?
She was so full of friggin goofball "folksy", I was ready to puke. But was I hallucinating or did she actually use the words "shout-out"? Yep, that's appropriate for a person running for VP. Next we'll have Flavor Flave.

The thing is, the dumb-ass people who support her will eat this stuff up.
