since I had an argument with one of my best friends who has a brother in law in the Navy. She kept saying that she has inside info that, if I was privy, would make me vote for McCain.

5. Polling active duty military is not legal

I wouldn't be surprised, given the composition of our armed forces, that they know who has their interests of greater concern, but I'd question any "authoritative" numbers.
