Biden did Obama proud.
An interesting thing I'd like to know from the polls or pundits.

Who did a better job defending/promoting the top of the ticket. What this election is REALLY about.

Biden did a MUCH better job elevating Senator Barack Obama than Palin did with McCain.

Biden was out there being very clear about what Obama wants to do and how he is for the change we need. Palin was concerned with improving her battered image and spouting canned RNC lines. Not a recipe for success in this electorate that is sick of the republican party and the "same old" message.

1. I was thinking the same thing throughout the debate.
I could see Obama grinning from ear to ear.

I'm sure Joe is relieved it's over, though. He's such a sweetie.

3. She absolutely could not sell McCain. It was canned words and nothing more.
And you know, I think she knows that. I really think she's aiming for 2012 at this point.

4. At some points she seemed to want to run away from McCain's own record of policies
did not give very strong support for her platform other than ambiguous "more jobs! less taxes!"

5. He did all of us proud.
He was a gentleman.

He showed a great command of foreign and domestic policy.

He forcefully reinforced the fact that McPalin is more of the same.

He looked at us and showed that he knows what it's like to walk in our shoes; he cares, and he's going to help do something about the awful state of our country after 8 years of Bush/Cheney.

He was intelligent, honest, sensitive, passionate, professional, and VERY VICE-PRESIDENTIAL.

And he WON. Decisively.

6. I agree, he was very classy too!
I would have smacked the hell out of Palin if she acted that way next to me! Plus, wasn't the media harping on him being a supposed "gaffe machine" all day long? He was the grown up at the podium.
