Biden focused correctly: showing HIS moxi, let Palin read her lines
The nation got a huge dose of how great a VP Biden will be today.

And they saw nothing terribly new from Palin: she recited the same old lines which McCain has been losing with ("maverick", "tax cuts", "surge working").

Let's remember, this debate wasn't all about Sarah. It was about who makes the nation comfortable they'd make a good VP. Biden kept his eye on the ball, and did a FANTASTIC job!
