The most phony performance I've ever seen.
Watch the wink. See the slight raise of the eyebrows when she thinks she's hit on an important and advantageous point. Listen as she fades in and out of that down home accent, with that appealing and endearing little crackle in her voice.

What a show she puts on. In all my years of watching politicians I must say she is by far the most calculating and fake I've ever seen. If she's auditioning for the part of Americas super market mom and I'm the director I'd have to say she comes across overly cute, insincere and affected. If she's looking to be Vice President of these United States I have to say, go back to Alaska.

If Americans, we who are fed a steady diet of sitcoms and peanut butter commercials and Paris Hilton news, are stupid enough to fall for this low rent political slight of hand then we get what we deserve.

We are now living the parody.

1. Maybe it's a southern/cultural thing but when people wink
it's meant to be "I don't really mean what I'm saying--I'm kidding."

So it was really weird for me to see her do that.

2. I think it means that every where.
I know I'm not too comfortable with the VP nominee trying to flirt with America. She just makes me feel creepy.

3. Winking to flirt, to me, you say something flirtatious first,
then wink.

This was the classic my fingers are crossed wink. Disturbing, especially because it happened several times, didn't it?

4. I really see what you mean now.
Is it possible that's the one thing she doesn't realize she's doing? Wow, talk about a tell.
