I think the most important thing to take away from that was that Biden was a TRUE GENTLEMAN....
He had numerous opportunities to attack her personally. He did not. In the end, he held back because he understands that she has no business being on that stage through no fault of her own. He protected her but still dominated the debate. He was masterful.

When the debate ended, Palin approached Senator Biden and said, and I quote, "Thank you." She said it four or five times straight. Nothing else. Just "thank you."

Following that was an odd sort of Biden Family & Palin Family jamboree. Palin holding her newborn son. Biden actively speaking with her family members. He even walked over and talked to the daughter that is a few years younger than Bristol. He put his hand on her shoulder and just talked to her.

The whole scene was very human.

So, in the end, Biden proved himself to be a believer in America and how all Americans need to come to together for change.
