Do you seriously think Palin is wearing a wire?
And if you do, we need to do something about it.

23. I'm not worried about it. If she does wear one, it'll only confuse her.
She doesn't have the ability to talk, listen and try to put together a coherent statement.

32. Why do you think that? She used to have to wear one in her job
as a sportscaster. For all we know, she's used one as a Governor.

3. No, I don't think so.
Somebody talking in her ear would confuse the hell out of her, besides I think she is arrogant enough to think she doesn't need one.

tell them something, they have to stop and say; wait a minute, I hear that....

7. With her hair being down today for the first time ever, I'm seriously suspicious of it.
I wish they had some kind of official check for that sort of thing. If no one checks her, then what's stopping them from putting a wire on her?

8. Honestly? No.
While the idea is hilarious, and the timing of her "hair down" is VERY suspect... the logistics of trying to get her to listen to the earpiece, Gwen, Joe, etc, process all that info, and answer in a timely fashion would just be too much.

I will be very suspicious if her hair is worn down or she is wearing something bigger than a band-aid.

I recognize the hair could be worn down for effect but I'd still be suspicious.

Her responses will tell all.

for tin-foil-hatting.

and I agree with the others who said that a listening device would just confuse the hell out of her. it's too risky for someone like palin.

34. Commenters on the Washington Post website also
mention the possibility of an ear piece:

expat2MEX wrote: "The only sure fire way Sarah will win is if she marches in with Dick Cheney's shotgun, a hand puppet, lots of lipstick and a good ventriloquist."

Don't forget the ear piece that can have answers fed to her instantly.

The woman is really dense and there would be no assurances that she wouldn't forget and try to adjust it or something. It is more likely she will have cheat notes written on her hands or arms.

we would get on her, check her out for wire, etc. thus making us look bad. Could be just her clever way to stir up something. Don't trust that woman. If she's wearing one, fine, let her even though it's highly unfair and wrong.

46. I don't think she wore a wire. Instead, she had canned responses that she
brought out constantly, at one point even repeating one. Back to back.

No, I think she is good at "glittering generalities", as has been said. She did not actually respond to some questions, and I fault Ifill for that. Instead she went into her spiel.

I watched the NBC feed, and, as she was walking behind stage after the debate, she was taking off a radio transmitter, like the ones the secret service use. Take a look, there was a wire, and I don't know why no one is making an issue of it!!!!
