Time.

She simply can not hold up her end for an hour and a half. She will not have absorbed enough catch phrases to last that long and as time goes on she'll start mixing them up. It will just get worse and worse as time goes on. She might be OK for 30 minutes, not much chance of her making it a full hour, not a chance in hell of her going the distance.

1. That's what i told my husband!

She just can't memorize enough cutesie one-liners to go 90 minutes -- by the end she will have said them four times each. ;)

2. I agree. But just imagine if we had not given in and had a format similar to Obama/McLame with 5
minute answers? I would have loved to have seen that.

3. You make a good point.
I think the debate should be shorter, but not because I want it to be easier for Palin, but because our comedians are getting too spoiled. When Tina Fey no longer needs to actually write her own material to make fun of someone, you know the madness must be stopped.

4. Good point. Time and nervousness
She babbles on and on when she is nervous. I wonder how many times Gwen will have to tell her that time is up. Also, I wonder how many times she will ask for the question to be repeated.

5. That, and lack of specific answers.
She can only bluff just so long.

6. As soon as she starts to lose it, the baby will become acutely ill and
they will summon her off the stage to rush the baby to the hospital. You heard it here first.

7. Yes, it is hard to imagine she has that much to say
to hold on for an hour and a half debate. With all the reports that she's been good in past debates, I'm guessing they were not as long as this one or that she didn't have as much time to try to make her case. I think the debate will be very interesting to watch because I have low expectations of her. I want to see how badly she might do. I'm interested to see if her training will show results.

8. It doesn't matter. Joe Biden is in the pro leagues. She's varsity no matter how she plays it.
Joe Biden would have to make mistakes for her to win.

9. I've thought the same thing.
How often can she say "Hockey Mom for regulated de-regulation and lower taxes to keep Putin's head off the bridge to nowhere" before it starts getting old.

10. I know I'm gonna have a hell of a time holding up for ninety minutes.
That voice of hers is meant for minor characters in twelve minute cartoons.

She went to college for broadcasting? Where? On a planet where the atmosphere is composed of helium?
